The Story Behind the Book
God asks questions — lots of them.
One morning while studying Scripture, I came across the story of a blind man brought to Jesus. And Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” I’d read that verse before, but this time it caught me off guard. After all, Jesus — being God in the flesh — doesn’t need to ask questions. He already knows the answer. And yet, He asks. What a curious question. Isn’t it obvious what the man wants?
That question stirred something in me. Could it be that Jesus wasn’t asking for His sake, but for the man’s? Was He inviting the man to name his need, to reflect on his heart, or to consider a deeper healing?
That moment launched my journey to uncover the questions God asks throughout Scripture — questions not for His information, but for our transformation.
I invite you to join me in exploring ten of these divine questions. And along the way, we just might discover some answers about ourselves too.
